Mark Moskowitz is President and Chief Executive Officer. The son of the firm's founder, Mark joined Argo in 1980 as a bookkeeper and worked his way "through the ranks" as a resident manager, salesperson, and property manager before being promoted to his current office.
Mr. Moskowitz is a graduate of Columbia College, 1985. He received his M.B.A. degree in 1991 from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business Executive Program. In
1986, he completed Wharton's School of Business's Family Business Program. Mr. Moskowitz is a NY State Licensed Real Estate Broker.
Mr. Moskowitz brings to the firm a long-standing interest and expertise in systems, operations, business management, and the renovation of commercial office, hotel, and historic properties. He is a principal of several properties and has managed the successful conversion of three luxury apartment buildings in Manhattan. He has supervised numerous renovation projects, including in landmark properties. In addition, he has acquired specific expertise in the rights of building owners of cooperative, condominium and rental properties, and the process of protecting those rights.
With Henry Moskowitz as his mentor, Mark has merged computer, operations and financial expertise onto the foundations of this well-established and sound family business.
Mark
enjoys spending time with his family, many social activities and traveling. He
is an avid skier, runner and fitness enthusiast.
Karen Berman

Vice President and Director of Sales
Ms. Berman joined the firm in 1975 as a specialist in Rent Stabilization and Control issues, including MBR and MCI capital improvement and abatement matters. In 1983 she became manager of Argo's in-house cooperative conversion sales agency.
Ms. Berman's expertise is in the area of cooperative and condominium sales; she has handled all phases of the transfer of these apartments, including sublets. Through her knowledge of the lending market, Ms. Berman has also been instrumental in the financing of apartment purchases, particularly in buildings where ordinarily lenders balk, due to, for example, heavy sponsor ownership issues. Ms. Berman is recognized as an expert negotiator and as a result has often exceeded client's expectations.
Since becoming a licensed Real Estate Broker in 1976, Ms. Berman has been responsible for the sale of over 2,000, and the rental of over 1,000 apartments in the New York City area. She has established and staffed on-site sales offices, as well as conducted several sales seminars on the benefits of owning residences.
In 1988, Ms. Berman was appointed Vice President and Director of Sales, and currently supervises the salespeople and listing activity in the department.
Karen is a licensed real estate broker, serves as a director of several New York City cooperatives and condominiums and is a member of the Association of Real Estate Women (AREW), the Downtown Brokers Association and the Real Estate Board of New York, serving on REBNY's West Side Committee.
A devoted mother, Karen enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She
enjoys the beach, swimming and many social activities. Karen is an avid traveler
and especially enjoys Caribbean cruises.
Marina Higgins

Vice President
Marina Higgins is a Vice President of the Argo Corporation and specializes in leasing residential and commercial properties, as well as managing mid and high-rise residential properties in New York City. She has particular expertise in real estate law and New York City Building and Housing Department policy.
After
graduating from Roanoke College with a degree in business administration, Ms.
Higgins began her career as a Leasing Agent for Benesen Holding Company in 1974.
In 1976 she became a Leasing Agent for Morgan Holding Company. Ms. Higgins came
to Argo in 1978 as the Director of Leasing. Since that time she has been
responsible for negotiating over 50 retail leases and administering over 15,000
residential leases. She became the Director of Management in 1987, and was
promoted to Vice President in 1989.
Ms. Higgins has been a contributing writer for Better Buildings magazine and has been a guest speaker at the New York Cooperator Coop and Condo Expo. She has been a licensed Real Estate Broker since 1978. She is also an active member of the Association of Real Estate Women and Women in Housing and Finance.
On her personal time, Marina enjoys spending time with her husband and hosting
dinner parties for her friends. Marina is a gourmet cook and is also interested
in traveling, architecture and design.
Larry
Littman

Vice
President
Larry
Littman is Vice President of the Argo Corporation, and responsible for the
company’s corporate strategy, financial analysis, and mortgage and
insurance placement. Larry is also an officer in the various entities in
which Argo and its principals have management and proprietary interest.
Larry
joined Argo in 1977 after his retirement as a senior vice president in the
world’s largest cargo and quality assurance organization. Since then he
has overseen Argo’s Partnership and Corporate investment syndications,
including investor liaison, tax matters and cash distributions. Larry has
also directed the financing and refinancing of managed properties, organized
real estate insurance programs, and conducted investment analyses.
His
outside activities include membership in the New York Produce Exchange and
the Commerce and Industry Association. He served on President John F.
Kennedy’s metrification committee. Larry has lectured extensively at
seminars for emerging nations and has served as a technical liaison with
foreign embassies and commercial consulates.
Larry
attended the University of Iowa, the Pratt Institute, Harvard School of
Business and the Alexander Hamilton Institute.
He
enjoys painting, fishing and boating.
Lynn Whiting

Director of Management
Lynn Whiting, who joined The Argo Corporation in August 1995, has over 17 years of experience in residential property management, facilities administration, and retail property management. After receiving a degree in Business Administration, Ms. Whiting joined the real estate department of Waldbaum's Supermarkets, a regional supermarket chain of over 100 stores. At Waldbaum's, she was actively involved in the daily operation of several shopping centers, the development of new store sites, and the preparation and monitoring of capital budgets.
Prior to joining Argo, Ms. Whiting was a senior property manager with two real estate management companies in New York, where she managed residential properties in Manhattan, the outer boroughs, and Long Island. Ms. Whiting has a thorough knowledge of cooperative and condominium associations, physical plants, renovations and major capital improvements. She has a proven track record of providing excellent service to clients and dealing effectively with employees, building staff, professionals and building service providers.
Between 1995 and 2001, Ms. Whiting was responsible for a portfolio of properties in Manhattan and Queens. Among her assigned properties were some of the firm's most prominent building assignments, including 220 Madison Avenue, 828 Fifth Avenue, and 565 West End Avenue.
In January 2001, Ms. Whiting was appointed the Director of Management of the firm.
Lynn enjoys
spending time with her husband, family and friends. Her hobbies include
traveling and boating. An animal lover, Lynn is interested in animal welfare
organizations and related charities.

Feinberg

Officer
Mark Feinberg is the
firm’s CFO and has oversight responsibility for the accounting department.
He has been affiliated with The Argo Corporation since 1991.
Mr. Feinberg is a graduate of
Rutgers
College, 1973, and earned an MBA in real estate finance from Rutgers Graduate
School of Business, 1975. Mr. Feinberg is a
New York
and New Jersey Certified Public Accountant.
Prior to his affiliation with Argo, Mr. Feinberg was employed for eight
years in the management consulting groups of Touche Ross & Co., and KMPG.
He specialized in developing financial forecasts for major real estate
development projects in the Northeast.
A dedicated family man, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and son.
He is a avid skier and enjoys traveling and golf. A sports buff, Mark
is on the Board of the Directors of the National Football Foundation and the
Manhattan Babe Ruth League.
Richard Apell

Controller
Richard Apell is Controller of the Argo Corporation. Mr. Apell, who joined the Argo team in August 2000, has over 13 years of experience in real estate accounting, which includes residential and commercial properties, and has specialized in accounting for cooperative and condominium associations.
After graduating from Northeastern University with a BS degree in Finance and Accounting, Mr. Apell began his career as a property accountant with a small real estate firm. By demonstrating his thorough knowledge of real estate accounting, skills at working with the accounting staff, and old-fashioned hard work and dedication, he advanced into a controller position over the past seven years.
Prior to joining Argo, he was a controller with a major real estate management company. Mr. Apell is fully knowledgeable with all accounting functions and manages a staff of 10 persons in Argo's Accounting Department. Through the years, Mr. Apell has developed an expertise in budgeting and cash flow analysis, which has become an invaluable asset to Argo's management division and their clients. He has been especially responsive to changes in the financial community and its long and short-term impact on real estate holdings. Mr. Apell takes a very personal approach to financial management, handling every property and financial issue from an owner's perspective.
On his personal time, Richard enjoys spending quality time with his family and
friends. His interests include traveling, sports and music.

Celenza

Manager/Payroll Administrator
Judy Celenza
is in charge of Argo’s office operations and employee payroll, tax
payments and union responsibilities. She is an expert in corporate
bookkeeping.
Judy joined
Argo in 1991, after positions as the controller for several luxury hotels in
Manhattan. She has also been the payroll manager for a large Manhattan
accounting firm. She attended St. Dominic Academy High School, and earned a
number of ADP degrees.
Judy
loves animals and rescued her schnauzer, Gretchen, from an animal shelter.
She also enjoys spending weekends in the country with her husband, Joe.

Dancyger

Property Administrator
Judy Dancyger
has the distinction of being the first employee at Argo to use a computer.
She joined the company in 1982 as a bookkeeper for the firm’s Manhattan
properties, and is now a Property Administrator.
Judy is
responsible for the company’s Division of Housing and Community Renewal
filings, SCRIE abatements, a variety of rent-oriented filings and
registrations, and processes monthly rent bills. Judy supervises the
bookkeeping staff and compilation of monthly reports, and is valuable as a
troubleshooter for the company’s software and hardware systems where her
meticulous attention to detail comes into play.
Prior
to joining Argo, Judy worked at a software company. She has an associate
degree in Business from Bronx Community College and a Certificate in
Computer Studies from Queens College.

loves music, travel, and working out at the gym.
Wendy
Moskowitz

Counsel
Wendy Moskowitz is the in-house legal counsel for the Argo Corporation. She
handles the company’s non-litigation work, focusing on commercial leasing
and corporate/partnership matters.
Wendy joined Argo in the early 1990’s. She was previously as associate at
Morgan, Lewis and Bockius in NY and CA, and Sonnenschein, Sherman &
Deutsch in NY. She is admitted to the bars of New York, Connecticut and
California. Wendy graduated from Brown University in 1978 and earned her law
degree from Hofstra Law School in 1981.
In her free time, Wendy enjoys running and physical fitness, as well as
spending time with her husband and 4 children.
